The Excalibur Firebolt 2219 Aluminum Crossbow Arrow is 20 inches in length and has a base weight of 352 grains with vanes and inserts. Combined with a 150 grain tip it totals out to 502 grains. The arrow shafts are Easton’s XX75 aluminum camo shafts.

Excalibur uses CAP nocks, which are flat with 8/32 threads to accept their T-Handle Arrow Puller. Since the Nock end is flat, you don’t have a designated down vane.

Arrow shafts with a FOC (front of center) balance provide increased accuracy. The new Firebolt arrows come with 4 inch vanes, which reduce the overall weight and increase the FOC. According to Excalibur, when combined with the 150 grain Boltcutter broadhead, the 2219 has a 11.6 percentage forward of the arrows physical midpoint. With a 100 grain Field Point the 2219 has a FOC of 11.6% and 13.6% with a 150 grain Field Point.  For better consistency while dialing in your crossbow with field points and hunting with the Boltcutters, you might want to choose the 100 grain field point.

The 2219 front insert has a universal 8/32 thread.
