Easton now produces Excalibur's arrows with a bit tougher, heavier shaft than the previous manufacturer and they have manipulated insert weights to closely match the previous arrow weight.  The weight (265 grains with inserts and vanes) is very consistent with Firebolt arrows plus straightness is very good and insert adhesion is excellent.

Excalibur has recently switched to 4" vanes since they discovered that accuracy with them is comparable to the 5" but they reduce overall weight and increase the front of center balance.
