Announcing TINY, a brand new 8 Megapixel Digital Surveillance and Trail Camera from SPYPOINT. It gets its name because of its size. The camera measures a mere 4.7 inches wide, 3.5 inches tall and 2.7 inches deep. TINY is loaded with advanced features that make it a valuable tool for monitoring your hunting property or surveilling your home or business property.

Because it has many different features, a built-in 2.4 inch configuration LCD is provided for navigating the Menu when programming the camera. There are only 4 buttons needed to scroll thru the menu, Up, Down, OK and Return To Previous Menu. You can choose between French, English or German for the menu language.

The camera is removable from its water-resistant housing case for easier handling and automatically prints date, time, temperature and moon phase on every picture. The one exception, in Electricity Mode the temperature is not imprinted.

For use as a Trail Camera, TINY can be powered by 6 AA alkaline batteries, an optional KIT-12V 12 volt battery or the LIT-C-8 lithium battery pack. The last two can be kept charged with the SP-12V solar panel.

For home or business surveillance you have the option to use a 12 volt DC adapter that pumps out a minimum of 800 mA. It provides an instant trigger time when a movement is detected. SPYPOINT recommends removing the alkaline batteries when this power is used. The lithium battery can remain safely inside the camera and it is ideal in case of a blackout. The 12 volt DC charger that comes with the LIT-C-8 will power the camera in the “electric” mode.

One of TINYs great new features is the Time Lapse mode. This allows you to set the frequency at which time the camera takes a picture, without detection. For example, if the option “5 minutes” is selected in the “Time Lapse” mode, the camera takes a picture every 5 minutes during that period of operation (time start and time stop) even if there is no detection. This option allows you to obtain pictures of game or people outside the detection range of the camera.

Another handy feature for security is External Triggering. Using this input triggers the taking of photos or videos using a normally open contact. Example: using a magnetic door switch connected to an alarm system.
